Review:
Everyone had a great time at my son's Bar
Mitzvah. Kevin Colangelo and his crew did a
fantastic job keeping the kids and adults
entertained and dancing. He was wonderful to
work with before, during and after the party.
He also had to travel a long distance for our
event and brought a wonderful set up of lights
and music. I was worried that the distance would
be a problem but they arrived and had everything
set up and ready on time. All of the kids - who
were between the ages 6 and 13 years old were
thoroughly entertained and had a great time
dancing and playing games. They did a conga
line, hula hoop game, musical chairs and the
limbo. Kevin played all of the latest dance
toons for the kids and some cool 70's dance
toons for the adults.
Thanks again Kevin for such a
great time - I can't wait to have you DJ my
daughter, Jessica's Bat Mitzvah in 2014.
I want to thank you again for all that you and your
crew did to make Caralyn's Bat Mitzvah celebration the wonderful experience
that it was for her and all of us.
Everyone had a great time and the kids
had a blast! My family and friends are still excited and continue to tell
us what a great party we had.
My neighbor's 6 year old son said that the
party was "the best day in my life"!
Even the folks in our town are still talking about
the party. Most of Caralyn's friends are not Jewish and had never been to a
Bat Mitzvah ceremony or celebration and
they had certainly never been to a
party like Caralyn's.
I think that having the party at the Stone's Lodge
was a good idea after all. We first booked you for Jacquelyn's Bat Mitzvah
celebration five years ago.
I remember I found you through an online search
because I did not like any of the entertainers I had seen at my friends
children's Bar or Bat Mitzvah parties.
If you hadn't shown up Jacquelyn's
day would have been a disaster and a terrible memory. Instead you came
through for us with flying colors and exceeded our hopes.
Jacquelyn and
Caralyn both had wonderful celebrations that they and their friends enjoyed
immensely. As you might guess it's not often that the kids in Vermont get
to party like that.
Having a party with lights and bubbles and a light up
dance floor was cool and fun, but ultimately the reason the kids had a
great time was because they were entertained and the celebration
flowed
seamlessly through the planned events because of your skill and expertise.
We are just now looking at the pictures our photographer Fran took, and
there are some fun ones of you too
having a good time looking dapper in
your tuxedo and so chill in the sequined shirt!

Review:
We were referred to Kevin by a friend in another
city. I was impressed the first time that I
spoke with Kevin.
He insisted on meeting with us
and going over all that he has to offer.
I had
already spoken to other DJ's that were outside
my local area and they never offered to come and
discuss their production with us.
At our first
meeting, it was clear that Kevin had spent a
great deal of time learning his craft.
He was
informative, but not a hard sell. His expertise
was evident and his commitment to putting on an
excellent 'show' was apparent.
Before the
event, Kevin came to the location and arranged
for the room to be laid out in such a way to
optimize the entertainment.
The evening of
the event was outstanding! Kevin played music
that the children could dance to. The games he
had the children involved in, made it easy for
the reluctant ones to get on the dance floor.
Kevin grabbed the kids attention and they
responded!!
The adults
were also able to dance and have a fantastic
time as well.
Every
aspect of our daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration
was flawlessly executed. Kevin and his team of
professionals kept the kids
and the adults
entertained and involved the entire evening.
The
orchestration of the evening was timed perfectly
and all the details handled. Kevin's equipment
is impressive - everything from the sound to the
lights is top notch.
The dancers were friendly,
professional and made all the kids feel
comfortable.
Leading up to the event, Kevin kept
us on schedule.
The on-line tools, especially
the playlist feature, allowed our daughter to
feel that it really was her party while allowing
parental oversight of the selections.
There is
nothing we would have changed with the event and
extend our most sincere gratitude to Kevin for
his professionalism and partnership in planning
/ executing our special occasion.
